“We had an amazing experience with Jennifer Gilmer. She was recommended to us by a friend whose mother-in-law used Jennifer for multiple ¬projects, and after we finished our project we learned our neighbor had also used her a few years ago. Everyone had a great experience. Now that I’ve worked with Jennifer and her firm, and talk to others, I realize how well established and respected she is in DC. This is well deserved. We spent a long time visiting various design shops and interviewing different designers. We were very discouraged by the process until we met Jennifer. Our first design session was fantastic – she approached the meeting with a great deal of creative energy and listened to what we were trying to create (both in function and aesthetics). I love to cook – so function was important, but I’m also really picky about things looking good and didn’t want function to impact the “look.” Jennifer made it work – and I love end product. I can honestly say that I “enjoy” my kitchen on a daily basis.
