This kitchen transformation proves thoughtful planning can redefine a space. Originally, the long, linear layout lacked flow, function, and a true visual focal point. By reimagining the floor plan, we created a more intuitive circulation pattern while establishing the range as the centerpiece when entering from the dining room.

To inject personality into the space, we introduced a bold blue finish on the base cabinets, integrated refrigerator, and behind the open shelves, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding white cabinetry. A geometric tile backsplash, illuminated open shelving, and book case at the back of the island add texture, depth, and a playful modern edge.

Designed for a busy young family living in the city, the finished kitchen balances everyday functionality with vibrant character. The result is a space that feels energetic and welcoming and showcases bold design choices blending perfectly with practical living.
